European Finals and Super Rugby round 13 referees

As we reported here, it’s the big weekend for referees, Wayne Barnes and Jerome Graces, as the European club finals take place in Bilbao, Spain. Barnes takes charge of his second European Champions Cup Final where Ireland’s Leinster take on Racing 92 from France. Jérôme Garcès oversees the Challenge Cup Final as Gloucester take on Cardiff.

Craig Evans of Wales will oversee the British and Irish Cup Final on Saturday too as Ealing host Leinster A.

Round 13 of the 2018 Super Rugby season kicks-off on Friday night in Auckland as the Blues host the in-form Hurricanes where Jaco Peyper will have the whistle. On Saturday there are six matches back-to-back. In Tokyo, South African Egon Seconds will look after the Sunwolves v Reds battle while down south in New Zealand Angus Gardner is in charge of the Highlanders and Lions in Dunedin. Nic Berry is the referee for the Australian Conference derby between Brumbies and the Rebels in Canberra. The last match of the weekend is an all South African affair between the Bulls and Sharks in Pretoria where Rasta Rasivhenge will have the whistle.

In Canada, the ladies World Sevens series takes place with a host of officials gathering on the British Columbia west coast.
