The ‘summer’ international window is now open as the Nations Championship and Nations Cup kick off in style. Luke Pearce (pictured top left) is in Christchurch where the All Blacks host France in one of the opening ties of the new competition. Plenty of the other top ranked refs are also dotted around the globe for weekend one.
Tomas Bertazza (top right) from Argentina heads north to take charge of the Canada v Spain match in the Nations Cup which is being hosted across the Americas. For the first time, the 13-24 ranked teams play meaningful rugby in a pre-RWC series.
We also have today’s match officials for round two of the u20s Junior World Championship in Georgia and then the appointments for round 3 on Tuesday.
Outside of that, we have domestic rugby in the women’s game in Australia and New Zealand with Maggie Cogger-Orr (bottom right) on Aupiki duty with the Chiefs Manawa playing Matatu.
