I was very pleased to see that the citing Officer for the London Irish/Harlequins match is Brian Campsall. He was, as you no doubt know a well respected International Referee. When I retired Refereeing with YRS I was appointed as an assessor and one of my early assessments was the above named refereeing one of his early matches. I was very impressed and in my report I recommended that he should be watched regularly by our team of assessors. And the outcome resulted in his above ultimate rise to International level!
