Referee, AR and TMO appointments – 5-7 April

We have the World Sevens series back in play this weekend as the referees from around the world join the teams in Hong Kong. The island’s Matt Rodden (right of the picture) will host his colleagues from global refereeing circuit.

As we reported yesterday, Jaco Peyper takes the spoils of the weekend refereeing his 100th Super Rugby match as the Crusaders play the Brumbies. In doing so he becomes just the fourth referee to hit the 100 matches milestone in Super Rugby. 

Elsewhere we have a range of matches across the Pro14, English Premiership, US Major League Rugby and French Top14.

Most of the Rugby World Cup hopefuls are in action, so watch out for any signs of positive – or less positive – phone calls. They know if they’re going to Japan and in what capacity – we’ll find out next week!
