The men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 organisation have launched the Volunteer programme for expressions of interest. And they appear to be looking for some existing Match Officials/Referees to get involved.
Among the list of roles, is a series of Vision Referee roles – designed to assist the Fan Experience/Sports Presentation team. You’ll help bring the match-day story to life for fans by supporting the Fan Experience team with clear, timely information on screen.
You would listen to referee communications, interpret key decisions and help share important match information in a way that enhances the spectator experience. “This is a specialist role suited to volunteers with expert knowledge of rugby laws and Rugby Union Referee experience.”
