Referees and their teams are mainly back on domestic competitions this week as the EPCR window shuts before the Six Nations window opens in a few weeks time. Aimee Barett-Theron (pictured top right) refs URC match number 13 for her as the Stormers play the Sharks. In other cross-border competitions, there’s a couple of Rugby Europe Super cup games in Amsterdam and the Celtic Challenge women’s competition reaches round 5.
In England, and in the Gallagher Prem, Northampton Saints are top of the league. They’re heading north to Sale. Anthony Woodthorpe (top left) will follow them up the M6! There’s a full set of Champ fixtures and a Eng u20s friendly at Bath. There’s Top 14, ProD2 and Elite Feminine in France, plus men’s and women’s Serie A in Italy. In Roma, Daniele Pompa (bottom right) will ref their match with Rovigo. Up in Scotland, the women’s cup competition, the Sarah Beaney Cup resumes for a new season. Allana McLean (bottom left) referees the Cartha Queens Park v Heriots tie. Finally in Europe, there’s men’s league in Spain, AIL action in Ireland and the men’s junior cup takes place there too. Good luck Shane Tuohy who referees the match between Dromore and Seapoint.
Elsewhere in the world, we also have Hong Kong China men’s and women’s premiership match officials appointments. I’ll add in Japan when I get them.
