Aurélie Groizeleau, Lauren Jenner and Maggie Cogger-Orr lead the appointments this weekend as the RWC21 warm-up matches continue. Groizeleau, from France (pic top left), is in Potchefstroom as the S Africans play their second test against Spain. The Springbok Women won the first match 44-5 last weekend. In Japan, Jenner (bottom left) referees the hosts against Ireland Women, and in New Zealand, the Black Ferns begin a series against Australia. This week sees home referee Maggie Cogger-Orr (top right) oversee the first test, with Amber McLachlan (from Australia) in charge of the reverse fixture next week.
There’s a gap week in the Rugby Championship this weekend, so the only other remaining fixtures are in the domestic level in Scotland and NZ. In NZ, the NPC and Farah Palmer Cup continue and the Heartland Championship kicks off. One referee out of place in NZ is the Australian, Damon Murphy (bottom right). He takes charge of the North Harbour v Tasman fixture. In Scotland we have the Super 6s and the Women’s Premiership resumes for a new season .
