Elsewhere, Maggie Cogger-Orr (pic top left) will referee the second test in Japan as the visitors, South Africa will be hoping to level things after a 15-6 home win last weekend. It’s round three of the Farah Palmer Cup in New Zealand and we see first class debuts for Erin Doherty (top right) and Georgia Mason (bottom right). Doherty is a Dunedin police officer and Georgia Mason played 28 games for the Otago Spirit before she suffered a serious knee injury in 2018 and then taking up the whistle.
And finally, as the NPC builds up, the Ranfurly Shield looks to be claimed by visitors Poverty Bay who head to the holders Hawke’s Bay. Cam Stone (bottom left) referees that one!
