The British & Irish Lions test in South Africa is on Saturday, and Nic Berry (top left) will referee the opening of the three matches. Ben O’Keeffe and Mathieu Raynal will AR before they rotate over the other tests. There’s been a change in TMO since first announced, with Marius Jonker now in the seat.
There’s also a couple of important Rugby World Cup qualifier tournament tie ups this weekend. Graham Cooper (Aus) will referee the Tonga v Cook Islands match and in Montevideo, Uruguay take on Brazil with Italy’s Andrea Piardi (top right) in charge.
Elsewhere, there’s round two of the Farah Palmer Cup in New Zealand as the top women’s league makes a full start after a shortened round last weekend – Larissa Collingwood will referee. There’s also the rescheduled final of South Africa’s Women’s First Division. Congratulations to Siyanda Pikoli (bottom right) on her selection for the Golden Lions Women v Free State match up. There’s a full series of men’s Curie Cup action to round things off.
Enjoy the weekend
Keith
