The big appointment of the week is in Ireland as Andrew Brace referees his first Pro14 final. He’ll be looked after by Frank Murphy and George Clancy with Brian MacNeice rounding up the all Ireland affair.
Nic Berry (top right pic) will referee the qualifier for next weekend’s Super Rugby Australia final. The Brumbies finished in first place on the tournament ladder after 10 rounds and will host next weekend. They will play the winner of this weekend’s match between QLD Reds, who finished second, and third placed Melbourne Rebels.
In New Zealand, Paul Williams will bring up a special milestone as he officiates his 100th first class game. He’ll be in charge of the North Harbour v Canterbury match on Friday night. Congratulations to him.
