After an entertaining weekend with South Africa wining the Rugby Championship as the Wallabies beat New Zealand. Jerome Garces issued a red card to the Kiwi lock, Scott Barrett for a shoulder charge which connected with Michael Hooper’s head. Jaco Peyper will be refereeing the return leg this weekend in Bledisloe 2, hoping not to add to the disciplinary committee’s work next week. In Aukland, Aimee Barrett-Theron will oversee the women’s NZ v Aus international. Fellow South African referee, Ashleigh Murray will be refereeing the Women’s World Cup qualifier competition as Kenya play Uganda.
In Cardiff, Pascal Gaüzère will referee the reverse of last week’s England v Wales match which the temporary World Number 1s lost out in an anything-but-friendly encounter. Karl Dickson, Luke Pearce and Nigel Owens are all on RWC warm up duties around Europe.
