The match officials for the Currie Cup final in South Africa, the NRC final in Australia (well, Fiji) and the Mitre 10 Cup final in New Zealand have been announced.
In Cape Town, Jaco Peyper will referee his fourth Currie Cup Final in seven seasons when Western Province host the Sharks. Interestingly, it’s a repeat of his first final in 2012, albeit that was held in Durban. Ben Crouse picks up the U20s fixture, and Griffin Colby the U19 Final.
In Fiji, Nic Berry will oversee his first Australia National Rugby Championship Final, as the Fiji Druas host Queensland Country at Churchill Park, Latouka
Glen Jackson of New Zealand, will referee this season’s Mitre 10 Cup Final, played between Auckland and Canterbury. Ben O’Keeffe will referee the Mitre 10 Championship Cup Final, with Jamie Nutbrown officiating the Mead Cup final in the Heartland Championship. Richard Kelly gets the fourth domestic final as Horowhenua Kapiti play Wairarapa Bush in the Lochore Cup.
