In episode 10 of the Advantage Over podcast, we speak to Seattle’s Joya Clark who’s spent the last two months at the South African Referees Academy at Stellenbosch. Back in Episode 8, we heard from Hendrik Greyvenstein who heads up the Academy – today we get the students view after 62 matches in 66 days. Quite some referee education! She even bumped into some of the world’s best (pic right), as well as being put through some pretty gruelling fitness work too (pic below)
