It’s a big domestic week as we approach the business end of the season in the north, Pacific and the Americas.
There’s something riding on each game in SR Pacific. James Doleman (pictured top right) will referee the Crusaders who visit the Brumbies. They are still in with a shout of top spot with the Chiefs just one point ahead of them. Ben O’Keeffe refs their (Chiefs) match with the Highlanders.
In France, there’s a couple of rounds left in the Top 14 – Ludo Cayre (top left) referees the Clermont v Stade Français Paris match with the hosts one spot away from a play-off place for the title, with the visitors just one point away from a relegation play off space going the other way! Should be an interesting match up. In the ProD2, it’s semi-finals weekend as they narrow down the team to head up into the Top14 next season. It’s URC quarter-finals with Andrew Brace, Adam Jones, Hollie Davidson and Mike Adamson in the middle of those.
It’s the final week of the Italian and Spanish leagues this weekend with Andrea Piardi whistling the Spanish Serie A Elite final and Eki Fanlo (bottom right) refereeing the Division de Honor climax in Spain. We also have the MOs for the leagues in the US (Kat Roche, bottom left, on WER duty this week), Premiership and Championship in England. Japan’s League One play-off refs will be added overnight [edit: now added].
