The Women’s Six Nations is back this weekend and English referee Holly Wood (pictured top left) makes her tournament debut in Brive as France play Wales. Aurélie Groizeleau is in Cork, and Aimee Barrett-Theron is in Edinburgh for the Scotland v Italy match.
Staying with the women’s game, both Australia and New Zealand have their competition finals at the weekend. Ella Goldsmith (bottom right) will oversee the Super W tie between Queensland and NSW and over the ditch, Maggie Cogger-Orr (bottom left) has the Super Rugby Aupiki finale as Blues play Matatu. There’s also WER action in the US.
In the men’s game, it’s EPCR quarter finals weekend. Matthew Carley (top right) will oversee a French cracker with Toulon hosting Toulouse in the Champions Cup on Sunday afternoon. In the cross-broder comps, Super Rugby starts the second half of the league season with all the usual suspects out officiating. There’s domestic action in the ProD2, RFU Championship, MLR, Netherlands (congrats Lars Looten on his top level debut there) Scotland, Japan, South Africa and the Kenya Cup final (congrats Paul Menthe from SA who heads north to referee that one).
