It’s one of the quieter weekends in the rugby calendar as many leagues/comps have finished, or are at semi-final stages, and we’re outside the men’s international window too. We, therefore, have one of the shorter referee appointments lists of the year. But still enough out there if you go hunting. Tyler Miller (pictured top left) is in refereeing action in Suva as Fiji host Japan for the first of two tests matches as they both start to ramp up towards WXV. It’s the final of the Super Rugby Americas competition and Damian Schneider (top right) from Argentina will take charge of his third regional tournament final. The Dogos host the Pampas in San Isidro, Buenos Aires.
In semi-finals, we have the URC and Super Rugby Pacific heading towards their season climaxes. Andrea Piardi and Sam Grove-White (bottom left) have the two matches in the URC. Down south, James Doleman and Angus Gardner have the whistles, with Luc Ramos and Thomas Charabas taking charge of the Top 14 ‘barrages’ to determine who will play against Stade Francais or Toulouse in next weeks semi finals.
There’s three weeks to go in the MLR regular season so you can see who’s refereeing out there – Marquise Goodwin (bottom right) will be looking after New England and Utah – and we also have the Taiwan International 10s tournament as well as a host of Rugby Europe 7s tournaments once again.
