Last round of pool games this weekend and there’s a fair bit riding on a few of the games. Big game looks like it will see Australia’s Nic Berry (pic top left) referee the Ireland v Scotland in Rugby World Cup pool B. There’s quarter final refereeing slots up for grabs, so they’ll all be looking to finish the pool matches on a high (or even better – off radar!) There’s a couple of WXV warm up games this weekend too with Zimbabwe’s Precious Pazani refereeing the SA v Samoa tie up in Wellington, SA. In Dubai, James Fairbourn will oversee the Hong Kong China v Columbia match-up.
We’ve also got domestic action around the world – the Hong Kong China Premiership is back for a new season. Craig Chan kicks things off there. We’ve also got action from New Zealand (NPC QFs & Heartlands semi finals), England (Sara Cox has Bath v Exeter in Prem Cup), Scotland, Ireland and the Middle East too. It’s a gap weekend in France ProD2 and Welsh Premiership so no appts this week from there.
