After the men’s and u20s Six Nations concluded last week, the action returns with the Women’s Six Nations. Joy Neville kicks things off in Edinburgh as Scotland host the champions, England. In Dublin, Kat Roche (pic top left) makes her 6N debut, becoming the third American to referee in the Championship. The experienced Sara Cox is in Grenoble for the third match of the weekend as France host Italy.
Elsewhere we have the Top 14 in France, Premiership in England, and the URC has a full league offering in Europe and South Africa. The eagle-eyed among you will register some TMOs in the ‘wrong’ leagues. With the European cup competition window brewing, it’s being used a chance for the TMOs to test out different broadcaster setups and new match officials before the important cup matches – the first such exchange arrangement of it’s kind.
We also have the weekend appointments for the Rugby Europe, Super Rugby (hat tip to Amber McLachlan who becomes the first official from Victoria state to AR in the competition as the Rebels host the Drua), USMLR, Scotland as well as the RFU Championship and Allianz Premier 15s Cup.
