Another Six Nations weekend for the women and the Ireland France game goes ahead despite some uncertainty earlier in the week. Sara Cox and her team are in Dublin ready for action. Similarly, Nikki O’Donnell and her team are in Scotland for their game versus Italy. There’s a full roster in England with the Premiership, Premier 15s and RFU Championship, and we have all the officials for the Top 14 round in France, and the Super Rugby tournaments in Australia and New Zealand. Amy Perrett gets another run out in the Western Force v Waratahs match.
One familiar name is making a return to refereeing this weekend, albeit in a different setting. Former English Premiership stalwart JP Doyle has joined Jonathan Kaplan and Chris Pollock’s ref squad for US Major League Rugby. He’ll be overseeing the Toronto v Seattle game this weekend. We believe it’s a season long arrangement for Doyle who was made redundant by the RFU last year.
