A long list of appointments this week, but one jumps out, as Aimee Barrett-Theron become the first South African women to referee a Super Rugby match. She’ll be overseeing the Bulls v Pumas match in Pretoria, and her appointment comes hot on the heels of Amy Perrett doing the same in Australia earlier in the autumn. Congrats Aimee!
The Gallagher Premiership is back for a new season, and with the WR guys out on duty around Europe, Adam Leal and Jack Makepeace get some game time. Christophe Ridley (bottom left) gets the show going as Quins play Exeter. In the Pro14 Mike Adamson (bottom right) has been unlucky over recent weekends as he was due to be involved in two internationals which were cancelled over Covid-related issues. We hope Leinster and Cardiff happens OK for him!
