Here’s South African referee, Jaco Peyper, talking through a “normal” week in the life of a Super Rugby referee. It covers post-match recovery, match and technical analysis, agility and speed training, next-match preparation, through to travel and logistics in the Super Rugby series.
A really useful insight!
Thank you Jaco , this was very informative also knowing that being a full time top class referee is a seven day job, from flying sometimes thousands of miles and returning home can take six days ,one of the differences I notice is that at the top games the players don’t call you sir anymore , still you can’t have everything, keep up the good job .
