It’s the semi finals of the Super Rugby 2017 season and the match official appointments have been made. In the all-New Zealand affair, Glen Jackson will oversee the Crusaders and the Chiefs, with Jaco Peyper of South Africa handling the other Lions v Hurricanes tie.

Having a Kiwi ref doing the semi with two NZ refs is fine. But how can a full house of home officials be justified in the Lions game. See how far this would go in the NH competitions. This is a joke.
All Super rugby games should only have home referees when it is two home teams playing otherwise they should be neutral especially for the end of season games.
Referees should be like Caesar’s wife.
Thanks for your comment Bill. We have some sympathy with you here. Some argue, equally as vehemently, that it should be neutral all the way through the competition, but there’s a cost element and the competition’s ruling body have decided the cost doesn’t justify it. The issue with this match is if you don’t use Jaco, who do you use? (We’re assuming that Gus Gardner was being saved for the Final) That leaves the other Aus officials – Berry, Hoffman and Houston and we’re picturing plenty of “Rookie refs in Semi” outrage had that happened. Always an interesting debate!
Why refree should not penlise the ball and then score try and was pass forward the ruck was hold up he never conform the try he didn’t see it probably he would go up tmo they ever seen the ball the hurricanes should win this
