I see from Tom Hines, the RFU’s digital editor for RFU.com & social (@Hiiino) that the referee in this weekend’s televised RFU Championship appointment mentioned in this RefCam trial, will also be wearing this rather snazzy number.
Not sure if it’s a global refereeing first, but it sure is here in the UK.
Another busy weekend across the rugby world. It’s the final weekend of the 2018 6 Nations (Mens, Women’s U20s), the final of the Anglo-Welsh Cup, Super Rugby hits round 5, Top 14 in France reaches round 21, there’s a few Pro14 rearranged fixtures, and a full set of RFU Championship matches to boot.
