Referee respect down to rugby ‘tradition’ – Ed Morrison

BBC Look East look into the role of the rugby referee.

As part of the package, the head of Premiership referees Ed Morrison says rugby officials are shown more respect than in football because of the tradition of the sport. There have been calls for football to replicate rugby and allow referees’ microphones to be broadcast.

Some Chest-Cam action included in the package on the attached which may not be available outside the UK (apologies!)
